Communication Dear Seth: This has to do with your editorial comments about the Postal Service in the Bulletin of 12 January. I hold no brief against our local carriers and agents. On the contrary, I have found them invariably efficient, cooperative and aggreeable as anyone could ask. BUT, I’ve said it once, I’ll said it twice and now I’ll say it once again: Who ever heard of a business that delivers free but charges extra if you come and get it? Only a government agency could devise such a ridiculously uneconomic method of operation. It makes one to dispair of ever finding anything like efficiency in public management.
